03-29-2002, 7:24pm - I've put up a copy of Vazgen's Quest. You can download it from the downloads section, of course. In case you want to play "Spot DarkDread's Art", stop reading here.
Now then, if you're wondering what was made by me in the game, here's a list: Vazgen's overworld sprite, the house tiles (inside and outside), and the Dintoroman enemy. Anyway, enjoy the game.
03-26-2002, 1:17pm - Video game music remixes are cool. They're even cooler when they're done as well as this. It's goth, and dancy. How can I complain? Cheers go out to the band for such an awsome track... you guys rock.
Otherwise, nothing has really been happening with me. I've been playing through Final Fantasy VII again, and enjoying it quite a bit. After that is done, I'm going to run through VIII (...and perhaps, even finish it this time), and then IX. Yeah, insert geek fanboy joke here.
03-22-2002, 5:32pm - Vazgen's Quest is finally done, and hopefully Aegis is at the GDC, wooing developers as I write this. If all goes well (...and I get permission, heh), I'll make a final version of the game available here, so you can all try it out.
That, is some of my final tile work for the game. Obviously, it's an inside tileset. This one took the longest to do, and tallied up the most tiles... exactly 100, if I remember right. I do think it's some of my better work. Hopefully, that'll help woo a publisher, heh.
Oh, I recieved an e-mail from a gothic rock band called Retinal Burn. They remixed "Can You Feel The Spirits?", the cave tune from Mysterious Song. It sounds really nice. I asked them if I could make the mp3 available for download here. Hopefully, I will be able to share that track with you all.
03-04-2002, 9:41am - Other than playing entirely too much Crazy Taxi 2, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (My Dreamcast has recieved quite the workout lately) I pixeled a new logo for the site. The colour scheme is once again, classic DarkDreams, for those of you who still remember 1997.
Oh yes, I also pixeled another monster. This will likely be a creature for Vazgen's Quest. It's an octopus-like creature. Mind you, as I only drew four tentacles, it would probably be more correct to call it a quadrapus. ;)
Incidentaly, I've had to correct spelling errors in this post six times already. I'm sure, I'll notice one or two more when I put this up. That's what I get for updating early in the morning... yeesh.
