08-18-2002, 6:45pm - Two updates in just one day? Satan will be skating to work tommorrow. Anyway, I just thought I'd show off a new screen. I added a few things to the inside house tileset for Legend of GrimTold, and took a test screenie. I like the way it came out, so, here it is.

Well, now our hero will at least have something to read.

08-18-2002, 12:50pm - I've been working on Legend of GrimTold a little bit today, and I've got a new screenie to show for it. Now, this screen may not seem like a big difference from a battle screen that's on the projects page, but trust me, a lot of things have been changed.

Eiss and Yuka fight slimes in a cave.

First off, you'll probably notice that Yuka is in the battle, it was only Eiss before. Second, I've changed the positions for the character and enemies. I think they look a bit less 'square' this way. Finally, I've cleaned up the player animations, and added enemy attack animations using the engine. All in all, it's shaping up to be a fun, NES style RPG.

08-15-2002, 7:12am - Looking through, and playing around with, the Legend of Grimtold, has made me want to work on it again. I think it can really turn into a fun game... well, if you like that old school console style RPG, at any rate. The story will certainly be a bit cliche, as will many other things with the game. Why? ...because that's the way I like 'em! Anyway, hopefully things go well for me today, and I have some time to work on it. Most likely, I will be working on new tiles, and maps... this way, I'll be able to show off some new screenshots tommorrow... or whenver I get them done. ;)

08-14-2002, 6:29am - I've got a new game for download. It's a metal gear/doom style 2D shooter that Lithium created. I did all of the tile and sprite art for it. It's lots of fun, and a small download, so go try it.

I also added one of the latest interviews with me. This one was done in June by Darkpagan for RPGDX. So, if you want to read something more up to date than 1998, there you go. I'll be scouring the 'net for other interviews, that I've done over time... so, that section should fill out a little bit more.
