04-29-2002. 7:54pm - So, Darkness Ethereal is back up. We're still working things out, but we should be running pretty well soon. I've added a link to the site (our domain name isn't switched yet) in my links section.

Oh yes... I've been listening to a killer doom metal band lately. They are called Necare, and you would be wise to go check them out. Thanks for the CD Ryan, it kicks some serious ass.

04-14-2002, 9:36am - Does anyone remember the Secret of Cooey III demo? If not, then you can grab a copy here. Don't forget, you'll need the VB6 runtime dll, which you can grab from Microsoft's site... I don't really need to link it, do I?

I don't know how long I'm going to keep it there. It could be up indefinetly, or, I may take it down once this month gets archived. At any rate, if that is the case, here are some screenshots you can look at:

A battle in the forest.

Cooey walks near a grave.

Talking to the people in wind town.

04-11-2002, 11:23pm - I almost survived the entire winter/early spring without getting sick once. The flue sucks. It really does. Safe to say, I haven't been able to do much of anything the past few days. I did finish the inside tileset for LoGT however. To 'celebrate' this, I added three new screenshots to the Projects section.

I've found myself downloading many an mp3 from this site lately. It's just like buying SonMay discs, only without spending any money. ;)

04-05-2002, 6:14pm - A new month, and a new logo. If I were wise, I would backup the old ones, and store them somewhere. Of course, that is certainly asking too much.

It's EGAtastic. EGAlicious. EGAtacular. I'll stop now.

Here then, is a new development screenie from Legend of GrimTold. It's a test map of the inside tileset. This one is about 60% complete. There will be more stuff inside. The required bookshelves, desks, chairs, and beds. Of course, no toilets. The characters in this game, much like most RPGs, will just have to use a bush, or a tree. Hopefully, they won't use the wrong bush. That might turn it into a thorny issue.

Anyway, considering the EGA palette, and colours which range from merely repulsive to cornea searing ugly, I think it looks quaint. Definetly has an NES feel to it... and that, is what I am going for. More to come soon... or not. We'll see.
